IT’S A SPRING THING: SPRINGFEST RETURNS TO WESTLAKE

Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

New This Year – Adaptive Egg Hunt for Children of All Abilities

WESTLAKE, FL (March 13, 2026) – The City of Westlake has announced plans for the 4th Annual SpringFest, happening Saturday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., along Ilex Way south of Persimmon Boulevard.

Designed as a joyful afternoon for all ages, SpringFest combines classic seasonal traditions with Westlake’s signature community spirit — featuring egg hunts, family activities, live entertainment, and plenty of reasons to linger, laugh, and make memories together.

“SpringFest is designed with families at the heart of it, from our thoughtfully planned egg hunts to the relaxed, festive atmosphere throughout the day,” said, our Mayor, JohnPaul O’Connor. “It’s one of those events where everyone feels included, and that’s something we’re proud of in Westlake.”

NEW THIS YEAR: ADAPTIVE EGG HUNT FOR CHILDREN OF ALL ABILITIES

In a new addition for 2026, SpringFest will debut a special Adaptive Egg Hunt designed for children requiring special accommodations, ensuring that every child can experience the excitement of the holiday tradition.

Scheduled before the traditional egg hunts begin, this thoughtfully designed hunt provides a welcoming and comfortable environment where children of all abilities can participate at their own pace.

EGG HUNTS FOR EVERY AGE

Following the Adaptive Egg Hunt, additional hunts will take place throughout the morning, organized by age group:

• 11:15 a.m. – Adaptive Egg Hunt (children requiring special accommodations)
• 11:30 a.m. – Ages 2 & Under
• 11:45 a.m. – Ages 3–4
• 12:00 p.m. – Ages 5–7
• 12:15 p.m. – Ages 8–10

Families are encouraged to arrive early, bring a basket or bag, and line up ahead of their designated hunt time.

FESTIVAL FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Beyond the hunts, SpringFest offers a lively mix of entertainment and activities designed to keep kids smiling all afternoon. Guests can enjoy music and interactive games with a live DJ, meet the Easter Bunny, and snap photos at festive Easter-themed displays and a new Luxe Flower Wall photo opportunity.

Children can also take part in creative spring crafts, including a Butterfly Foam & Magnet Craft station, and experience magical touches like a Spring Fairy sprinkling pixie dust.

Additional attractions include a petting zoo, balloon twisters, face painters, and the popular Glittering Fairy Hair experience — creating a colorful and whimsical atmosphere throughout the festival.

A special thanks to Bloom sponsors Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath, ER at Westlake, Konover South, Rosenthal, Levy, and Simon and Sosa, and Petal sponsors including Cotleur & Hearing, Minto Westlake, Superior Surfaces, and Drake Lawn & Pest Control.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to Westlake, SpringFest is the perfect way to welcome spring and enjoy everything the city has to offer.
