CITY LAUNCHES ANNUAL 2026–2027 Budget Dashboard to Keep Residents Informed Throughout Budget Season

Online resource provides budget meeting schedules, presentations, updates, and key milestones throughout the FY 2026–2027 budget process

Westlake, FL (July 9, 2026) - The City of Westlake has launched its annual 2026–2027 Fiscal Year Budget Dashboard, providing residents with a centralized online resource to stay informed throughout the annual budget process.

The dashboard serves as the community's hub for budget season, offering convenient access to budget workshop schedules, City Council meeting dates, presentations, budget documents, key milestones, and budget season highlights. The resource reflects the City's ongoing commitment to transparency, accessibility, and meaningful public engagement as the annual budget is developed.

The City Council held its first budget workshop on June 30, beginning its review of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026–2027 budget. Council members will continue those discussions during the second budget workshop on Tuesday, July 14, at 6:00 PM as they review departmental budgets, financial priorities, and funding recommendations for the upcoming fiscal year.

Residents are encouraged to follow the budget process by visiting the Budget Dashboard throughout the season, where meeting materials and updates will be posted as they become available.
