WESTLAKE, Fla. — The City of Westlake is proud to announce that Vice Mayor Greg Langowski has been elected Second Vice President of the Florida League of Cities (FLC), joining the statewide leadership of the organization representing Florida’s municipalities.
Langowski was elected by the League’s membership during the 2026 Florida League of Cities Annual Conference in Hollywood, Florida. He will serve as Second Vice President for the 2026–2027 term alongside FLC President Mark Franks, Mayor of the Town of Shalimar, and First Vice President Sarah Stoeckel, Council Member for the City of Titusville.
“I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve as Second Vice President of the Florida League of Cities and grateful for the confidence placed in me by municipal leaders from across Florida,” Langowski said. “The League plays an important role in bringing our municipalities together with one strong voice. I look forward to working with President Mark Franks, First Vice President Sarah Stoeckel, our Board of Directors, members, and the League’s outstanding professional staff as we continue advocating for local government and protecting Home Rule.”
Langowski has been actively involved with the Florida League of Cities throughout his service in municipal government. He previously chaired the League’s Federal Action Strike Team (FAST) and continues to serve on FAST, as well as the Legislative, Advocacy, Education & Training, and Development, Code Compliance, and Redevelopment Committees.
