As we prepare to welcome residents and visitors to the City of Westlake’s 4th Annual Holiday Pop-Up Market on Sunday, December 7, 2025, we want to ensure everyone is informed about temporary traffic adjustments planned to keep all attendees safe.

Road Closure Details

Date: Sunday, December 7, 2025

Location: Ilex Way (Between Persimmon and Sand Bar Drive)

Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Sky Cove South Residents

Expect the following traffic changes:

• Sand Bar Drive: Left-turns only when exiting the community.
• Ilex Way (North): Closed to vehicle traffic just north of Sand Bar Drive.
• Ilex Way (South): Closed to thru-traffic just south of Persimmon Boulevard.

Terraces Residents

Traffic adjustments include:

• Left-turn only exits when leaving the neighborhood.
• Use Waters Edge Drive to access Seminole Pratt Whitney Road.
• Ilex Way (South of Persimmon): Closed to thru-traffic; detour via Waters Edge Drive.

For All Westlake Residents

• Traffic Delays Expected: Please anticipate delays along Persimmon Boulevard due to increased event activity.
• Detour Guidance: Directional signage will be positioned along key routes to assist drivers with navigating detours safely and efficiently.
• Green Lane/Ilex Way.: Left-turn only.  Detour via Waters Edge Drive to access Seminole Pratt Whitney Road.
