Greg Langowski serves as Second Vice President of the Florida League of Cities and Vice Mayor of the City of Westlake, bringing more than two decades of public service and community leadership to his work on behalf of Florida’s municpalities.

A longtime advocate for local government, Greg has built his public service around collaboration, civic engagement, and strengthening the voice of municipalities at the local, state, and national levels. In Westlake, he also represents the City Council on the Westlake Education Advisory Board.

Greg is an active member of the Palm Beach County League of Cities and represents the League on several regional boards and task forces, including the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, the Palm Beach County Water Resources Task Force, and the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency’s Technical Advisory Committee.

At the state and national levels, Greg has been extensively involved in advancing the priorities of local governments. In addition to his role as Second Vice President of the Florida League of Cities, he serves on the National League of Cities Board of Directors and participates on its Legislative Action Committee, Small Cities Council, and Council on Youth, Education, and Families. Within the Florida League of Cities, he previously chaired the Federal Action Strike Team (FAST) and continues to serve on FAST, as well as the Legislative, Advocacy, Education & Training, and Development, Code Compliance, and Redevelopment Committees.

Professionally, Greg serves as Southeast Regional Director for U.S. Senator Ashley Moody. His career includes nearly 14 years of service with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, as well as roles with Northwood University, Jupiter Medical Center, and the City of West Palm Beach. Deeply committed to public service, he served nine years as Chair and Board Member of the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, a gubernatorial appointment, and has held leadership positions with organizations including Prevention Partnerships for Children Inc., the Children’s Movement of Florida, and the Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida.

Greg holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University. His leadership and advocacy have earned him numerous honors, including the Florida League of Cities’ Home Rule Hero Award (2024–2026) and Gold Certificate of Excellence (2023–2026). He is a graduate of the League’s Institute for Elected Municipal Officials I and II and a proud member of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Class of 2025.
