Greg Langowski, Vice Mayor

Greg Langowski currently serves as Vice Mayor of the City of Westlake and represents the City Council on the Westlake Education Advisory Board. He is an active member of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, where he represents the League on several regional planning councils and task forces, including the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, the Palm Beach County Water Resources Task Force, and the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency’s Technical Advisory Committee.

At the state and national levels, Greg is a dedicated advocate for local government. He serves on the National League of Cities Board of Directors and participates on its Legislative Action Committee, Small Cities Council, and Council on Youth, Education, and Families. Within the Florida League of Cities, he has chaired the Federal Action Strike Team and continues to serve on that committee, as well as the Advocacy, Education & Training, and Development, Code Compliance, and Redevelopment Committees.

Professionally, Greg is Regional Director on the staff leadership team for U.S. Senator Ashley Moody. His career spans roles with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Northwood University, Jupiter Medical Center, and the City of West Palm Beach. Deeply committed to public service, he served nine years as Chair and Board Member of the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County—a gubernatorial appointment—and has held leadership positions with organizations such as Prevention Partnerships for Children Inc., the Children’s Movement of Florida, and the Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida.

Greg holds both a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University. His leadership and advocacy have earned him numerous honors, including the Florida League of Cities’ Home Rule Hero Award (2024, 2025) and Gold Certificate of Excellence (2023–2025). He is a graduate of the League’s Institute for Elected Municipal Officials I and II (2024) and a proud member of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Class of 2025.
