Greg Langowski, Vice Mayor

Greg Langowski serves as Vice Mayor of the City of Westlake and as the City Council’s representative on the Westlake Education Advisory Board.

He is an active member of the Palm Beach County League of Cities, where he represents the League on several regional planning councils and task forces, including the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, the Palm Beach County Water Resources Task Force, and the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency’s Technical Advisory Committee.

At the state and national levels, Greg is a strong advocate for local government. He serves on the National League of Cities’ Board of Directors and is an active member of its Legislative Action Committee, Small Cities Council, and Council on Youth, Education, and Families. Within the Florida League of Cities, he is the former Chairman of the Federal Action Strike Team and continues to serve on that committee as well as the Advocacy Committee, Legislative Committee, and the Development, Code Compliance, and Redevelopment Committee.

Professionally, Greg is Regional Director on the staff leadership team of U.S. Senator Ashley Moody. His career includes prior roles with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Northwood University, Jupiter Medical Center, and the City of West Palm Beach. He has also been deeply engaged in public service, serving nine years as Chair and Board Member of the Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, a gubernatorial appointment. In addition, he has held leadership positions with community organizations such as Prevention Partnerships for Children Inc., the Children’s Movement of Florida, and the Century Commission for a Sustainable Florida.

Greg earned both his Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University. His leadership and advocacy have been recognized through multiple honors, including the Florida League of Cities’ Home Rule Hero Award (2024, 2025) and Gold Certificate of Excellence (2023–2025). He is a graduate of the League’s Institute for Elected Municipal Officials I and II programs (2024) and a member of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Class of 2025.
